New York, New York!

Charles worked in Orange, New Jersey this last week. We got looking on the GPS and seen that the Statue of liberty was only 8 miles down the road. We decided we would eat our PB&J at Liberty park, and enjoy the view of Lady Liberty. While there we could not resist driving across the river into the city. We drove all over. It was crazy. People do not know how to drive! Taxi's and busses practically run you off the road if you are not paying attention. There were thousands of people everywhere and piles of garbage. We saw China Town and the Brooklyn Bridge. We drove up and down Park Ave and 5th Ave. We stopped at Ground Zero where the Trade Center Towers fell. We went to the Empire State building. All in all the day was AWESOME!
Did anyone see Rush Hour?
The Subway.
Driving in the Tunnel.
There were piles of garbage everywhere.
The Empire State Building
There is no honking or pedestrians allowed, Yeah Right.
The Brooklyn Bridge
Ground Zero of the World Trade Center.
Because it was the anniversary, there were cops everywhere.
Skyline of NY financial district.
Lady Liberty.
Unfortunately we did not get the chance to ride the fairy over to the island.
Walking out to the board walk.
The white truck in the picture was there to take all the flags down to half-mass.
